A meeting of people in love with Brazilian culture.
Ai Que Bom promotes the meeting of dancers, musicians, teachers, amateurs and renowned professionals passionate for the Brazilian culture. A festival focused on dance and music, where the exchange between people from various countries and the sharing of experiences, are the main objectives.
We’ll start with a relaxed warm-up on Thursday evening and then there will be 3 awesome parties in iconic Parisian venues on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Venues are La Marbrerie, an ancient marble workshop and the well-known La Bellevilloise, our main forró location in Paris!

DJs Ai Que Bom Paris
Thiago Lima, Dj since 2009
Thiago was born in southern Brazil, a region where cultural traditions are part of everyday life. Born into a family of musicians for several generations (see Elias Alvares Lobo, and the Opera Noite de São João), his interaction with music began naturally at a very young age.
Currently, his activity is focused on the management and artistic direction of Ai Que Bom events in Europe.
Dj Thiago Lima also mixes at Brazilian music festivals in France, Belgium, Holland, England, Germany, and Spain.
Born and raised in São Paulo, Brazil, Sampa was influenced in his early childhood by different music styles that rocked the dancefloors in the late eighties. Later on, he would rock those same dancefloors himself as a DJ playing rhythms like Samba, Samba-Rock, Rap, Funk & Soul of the early nineties. He first came into contact with Forró in the late nineties, when he frequented São Paulo’s Remelexo club together with his Capoeira group. He moved to Switzerland in 1999 and soon established his reputation in the Latin music scene as DJ Sampa.

The festival features a staggering 50 hours of classes to choose from, all hosted at the dedicated venue Centre de Danse Georges Momboye and at La Bellevilloise, just next door. There will be Forró of course, but not only !
Ai Que Bom offers also the opportunity to discover other Brazilian dances as frevo, coco, samba no pé, Samba de gafieira, contact dance …. with international teachers from Europe and Brazil!
